What is semi-permanent makeup ?

A specialist procedure whereby microscopic amounts of pigment are deposited under the surface of the skin. This procedure can be applied to any part of the body, and can help with scarring or more superficial issues such as hair loss. Most commonly it is used to help provide beautiful eyes, eyebrows and lips

Is it safe ?

The procedure is perfectly safe as long as it is carried out by a qualified and registered therapist such as me. I conduct my procedures to the highest ethical standards and put my customer’s health and safety at the top of my list of priorities. I am always available to support my clients with aftercare advice. I also provide after-care advice sheets and cream.

What treatments can I have ?

Eyebrows - Shaping, enhancement, hair-stroke, Ombre (block shading), or combinations thereof

Eyes – Eyelash enhancement, thin eye-liner, thick eye-liner, slight flick (long flick not recommended)

Lips – Lip-liner, lip-blusher, full lip (lip liner plus blusher)

Scalp pigmentation – Models required

Scar camouflage – Models required

How many treatments are required ?

Two treatments are always needed, the second one is to re-assess initial treatment and touch-up some areas if required. This takes place five to six weeks after initial treatment. A touch up is needed because sometimes when the scab forms pigment can fall out of the skin, or the client may decide they’d like a darker shade.

How long does semi-permanent makeup last ?

It can last from one to three years, depending on your skin type, chosen pigment and lifestyle. Colour boosters are recommended every twelve to eighteen months.

Is it expensive ?

My prices are highly competitive given my high levels of service, qualifications and experience. I operate from my home studio in Sussex which keeps my costs down and I therefore pass these saving onto my customers, resulting in great prices

How will it benefit me ?

Your natural looking makeup will be waterproof, so no more smudging in the rain or on the beach. Watching sad movies will no longer leave you feeling self-conscious aswell as emotional ! You can stay in bed a bit longer rather than getting up early to apply makeup.
