There are many reasons why we consider permanent makeup. One common fallacy is that it’s strictly for vanity or to correct imperfections. These both can be true, but many people may not know that permanent makeup can lift the entire face. So before you consider fillers or even surgery, think about semi-permanent makeup.

To understand this, it helps to know how eyebrows frame one’s face. Even without wrinkles, mis-shaped and sparse eyebrows can make you look older. Poor brow shape will only enhance crow’s feet, frown lines and even loss of facial volume. Here are some other ways incorrect brow shape is causing you to look older ;

• Scant or over-plucked brows - filled in, properly shaded brows brighten eyes and skin tone.

• If the inner part of your eyebrows curves downward, this may make the nose look bigger and accentuate frown lines. An angry look isn’t pretty !

• If the tail end of your brows turns downward, you can look sad and it emphasizes crow’s feet.

• They can also create a “droopy” look or stress a sagging jaw-line.

• Overarched brows ? Looking permanently surprised doesn’t work
